I dont like the double fame. People that cant play much that particular weekend get jacked while the newbies that have the entire weekend free catch up to them in rank. Well whatever.

I like 8v8 but they need to redo some maps to stop the spike craze.

I predict the monk metagame to adapt from the 6v6 format meaning a hybrid type of backline. I could see 2 prot monks and 1 heal instead of the original 1 prot 2 heal with the old 8v8. So this will mean more protection against spike, high ele pressure, and will still have the infuse for the spike also. If there isn't enough raw healing, maybe one monk will be a hybrid by itself. So...only the careless should be spiked down. Pack your choking gas, infuse, prot spirit, etc. There are counters for spikes and will not stop good balanced teams from completely shredding into them.

EDIT: corrected spelling error. ^_^

Its about goddamn time. Too bad stupid killcount, and halls relic runs/capture points are still around to ruin an otherwise good thing. Honestly, whats so wrong with changing all altar maps to king of the hills? Is it really that hard to figure out that 'hey, this is what it was originally meant to be but with the entire match mattering'?

anet, screwing over the GW PvP community since 2005.

im not afraid of all those mass spikes. choking gas ftw. i plan on running 2x choking gas rangers in whatever i do this weekend, and it should stop every spike in its tracks.... people should just bring counters instead of complaining that something easy to beat is all over the place, its like complaining that iway rolled you, its just to easy to beat.

edit: also, double fame = bad... very, very very bad...

Mental not to self: create a W/R and let the AbuseFest begin.

yes, because the choking gas rangers are to stupid to walk around the obstables? staying obstructed generally means balling up around a wall, and if one choking gas ranger stands on either side of that wall, gl casting a spell

I really do laugh at the people who say 8v8=iway. Did you even play on the 8v8 week that we had. Iway was ran for the first day then everyone realised its so crap now and didnt run it because its kill count and impossible for iway to win on.

From my experience with choking gas rangers, they often are.

I'd run 2x cry of frustration, cgas is bad. People only used it because you used to gain fame by interrupting the ghost and cgas was the most brainless way to do it.
